PSG forward Ousmane Dembele insists he and Luis Enrique are just coach and player and nothing more.
Previously, there was a rumour that there was a disagreement between Dembele and Enrique, with the latter continuously dropping the French national team striker to the bench, citing that the player was not performing at the level he wanted.
The French media recently asked Dembele, 27, after the game in which Paris Saint-Germain defeated Olympique Lyonnais 3-1 last Sunday, about the player’s relationship with Enrique.
It was a performance that raised questions about the winger’s absence from the starting 11 since he picked up a red card in the 1-0 defeat to Bayern Munich in the Champions League on the 26th of November.
“As (Luis Enrique) said in a press conference, we are not brothers. He is not my father’s, he is not my brother. We are not brothers.
“We have a coach-player Promotion ufabet relationship. I’ve known him for a short time. We try to do everything to help PSG grow, win trophies, play well and please everyone.”
It is a confirmation that the two are not as close or able to talk as intimately as other players. Making the previous report from L’Equipe seem more likely to be true about Dembele’s relationship with Enrique. But that the two can still work together as professionals.
